Each motorcoach can seat up to 56 people comfortably.

How do I book my charter bus trip?

How early do I need to book my charter bus trip?

We will make all efforts to accommodate all requests based on availability.

Does your fleet have space for storage and luggage?

Yes, all of our buses have ample space for storage in the undercarriage and in overhead compartments.

Do your charter buses come with drivers?

Yes, all of our charter bus trips are driven by our certified and licensed drivers. They have extensive training in driving our vehicles and will give you the best possible experience.

Do I need to find a hotel room for my driver?

Yes, typically it is the responsibility of the client to book a room for the driver. This is required for any trip exceeding 15 hours or multiple days. Travel By Bus can help coordinate accommodations.

Do your buses have air conditioning?

Yes, our fleet is fully equipped with integrated climate control including air conditioning and heating.

Do your buses have television?

Yes, our fleet provides a DVD system with multiple 16 inch flat screens.

Is alcohol and/or smoking allowed on board?

No, we do not allow alcohol consumption or smoking on board.

What if my bus is late or has a mechanical issue during travel?

Our 24/7 On-Call Service, provides you with our charter bus experts who are standing by for your convenience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Can I bring a cooler on the bus?

No eating or drinking is allowed on board; however, terms are negotiable*

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, check, or wire transfer.

What type of deposit is required?

A thirty percent (30%) non-refundable deposit is required to reserve and confirm service (s).

What is the refund policy?

There is no cancellation fee if the cancellation is made in writing (fax or e-mail) at least thirty-one (31) days prior to the date of service. Later cancellations are charged as a percentage of the total costs of the contracted service:

  • 15 to 30 days prior to date of service 30% cancellation fee

  • 14 to 8 days prior to date of service 50% cancellation fee

  • 7 to 0 days prior to date of service 100% cancellation fee

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, check, or wire transfer.

How do you handle change of plans?

There is no cancellation fee if the cancellation is made in writing (fax or e-mail) at least thirty-one (31) days prior to the date of service. Later cancellations are charged as a percentage of the total costs of the contracted service:

  • 15 to 30 days prior to date of service 30% cancellation fee

  • 14 to 8 days prior to date of service 50% cancellation fee

  • 7 to 0 days prior to date of service 100% cancellation fee

A change in date of motor coach service is a cancellation. But, based on availability, we will always see if changes could be made.

Do I pay for parking or tolls?

Not included in our quoted rates are A/P fees, port fees, state park fees, parking, etc (unless otherwise informed). Tolls are included, but might be added based on changes of itinerary.

Do I need to tip the driver?

You are not obligated to tip a driver, but we recommend that if you are satisfied with your service, you do so. Typical rates for tipping a driver range from 10-20% for short charters and on over the road/Multi-day trips giving $1 or $2 per person/per day.

Can you provide proof of insurance?

Yes, we can provide proof and give COF (Certificate Of Insurance) upon request.
